This is because relatively traditional boiler construction technology (similar to coal fired power stations) will be utilized. Equipment Maintenance Costs of £8 - £10 million per year: The maintenance of the Plant (including the fuel storage area, fuel handling system and jetty), will require maintenance expenditure for the 25 year life of the project.
